| | Chart and Chart Plotter
I took this photograph of Tramontana's Chart Table to show, on the Chart Plotter to the right, the boat's track out of The Sound Of Islay, towards the Island of Colonsay, and then a tack to head into the Firth of Loren, doing 6 knots under sail. This good speed and exciting sail almost got me to Oban, four days and three nights after leaving Conwy. I made Ardmore Bay on the South Coast of the Island of Keerera as the sun set. Here I dropped anchor, five miles South of Oban. I cooked some hot food to allow time to pass, checking the anchor was holding. The shore was less than 100 metres away. Satisfied that I had a good grip on the sea floor, I retired to my bunk.
