| | Oban Waterfront
A full English breakfast aboard Tramontana got the day off to a good start as the wind dropped to Force 6. In tourist mode we visited Oban, and had Smoked Haddock & Chips sitting by Oban's fishing fleet. Back aboard our boat we spent the evening watching a couple of boats leave, and several arrive that had been 'caught out' by the previous night's Force 10. The only arrival that looked like it had coped well with the storm was Antares III, designed by Bill Dixon, launched 2011, and built to cruise the world in comfort. The interior was ultra posh. Length 30 metres, draught 3.85 metres, displacement 100 tonnes. It had been judged best sailing yacht between 30 and 40 metres in 2012.
