Irish Sea Shark

South of the Isle of Man we passed through a fleet of trawlers, all dragging nets astern. A shark was slowly circling. To my delight it came close enough to Tramontana for me to get a picture of its fin cutting through the smooth water. The Calf of Man is the land in the background.
As evening closed in on our third day at sea, Guy got creative once more in the galley. An hour later he served up rice with red kidney beans, accompanied by Mackerel (from a tin with chilli tomato sauce) anchovies, onion, red pepper and croutons (made from left over bread). Unlikely as it sounds, this was the outstanding meal of the summer.
