| | Charm and Elegance
The plan for the day was for several Albert Strange designed boats to gather on the River Orwell, by The Suffolk Yacht Harbour. For Charm this was 12 nautical miles away. By working the tides, she could get us there for lunch and back for dinner at The Nautical Lights, the Titchmarsh Marina restaurant. The weather was forecast to be warm and sunny and with a stiff Force 5 blowing from the East. This would be ideal for an exciting dash in Charm, on a beam reach, both ways. However, thoughts of the day ahead evaporated as I digested the elegance of the yacht in front of me; Charm was stunningly beautiful and in immaculate condition. The closer one looked, the more detail, lovingly attended too, became apparent.
