After an afternoon sleep, I was up at 6 pm to take Zeta for a walk around Whitehaven Marina and look for any interesting boats. To my delight I came across two Alan Buchanan designed vessels, Capella Of Kent (Pictured above) and Patiki, and the Albert Strange influenced Shona. Back aboard Tramontana I calculated that at an economical cruising speed of 3 knots, the new engine used one litre of diesel per nautical mile, or three litres per hour. So the all engine powered voyage from Fleetwood to Whitehaven had cost £40.
