Helen and Frida were due to arrive for a week of family holiday. First I had a day to catch up on sleep and ready the boat. As I sipped a Guinness at the Poolbeg Yacht and Boat Club bar, I watched the manoeuvrings of large passenger and cargo ships right by Tramontana. I deleted the thought 'accident waiting to happen' and replaced it with 'impressively skilful seamen at work'.
I wondered if the family would like sleeping on the boat with all that going on outside and so only booked in for a couple of nights. A brisk walk into Dublin secured some essential supplies of bread, milk, and eggs whilst also exercising Zeta properly after nine days without setting paw on land.
