| | The Family Arrive
Helen and Frida arrived at 6.30 pm after an exhausting day of Mother and Baby travelling with luggage from Shrewsbury by taxi to the station, train to Holyhead, crossing of the Irish Sea by Ferry, and taxi to the boat. The Irish taxi driver had laughed when Helen asked for "The Marina" and said "Oh, you mean the poor man's yacht club". I wondered if she'd like to move to Dun Laoghaire Marina, but she was game for giving Poolbeg a chance. The photograph shows a very pleased Frida with her arrival present of a wooden train set.
