| | Go With The Flow
At 7 am, back by the Gwynt-y-Mor wind farm, I decided the time was right to head for the Queen's Channel. As the tide gripped the boat I knew there was no turning back. With the engine on 'slow ahead' to provide steerage Tramontana was carried along by a 4 knot current. At first Liverpool Marina didn't respond to my VHF calls to be locked in and I was starting to think "What do I do now ?" when several yachts about to compete in a race were locked out. It was then my turn to be locked in. Inside I headed for the nearest easiest berth; Helen and Frida would arrive in a few hours time and I needed sleep first.
