Pirate Ship

Tramontana was designed by an ophthalmic surgeon named Thomas Harrison Butler. His stated aim was to design balanced boats in which families could safely sail. I like to think that he'd like the previous photograph of a visiting family on board that included Lucy, and her two boys Billy and Eddy, Frida's playmates. It helped that Tramontana has a passing resemblance to what Billy thought a pirate ship should look like. Here he is, running down the Starboard side from bow to stern, whist Frida is running the other way on the other side.
