Crew with Muscles

The family departed as five days of foul weather swept in. This gave Dan a chance to fly out from Shrewsbury and be crew for the following week of idilic weather. He arrived at 7 am on Friday the 3rd of August, having travelled overnight. In spite of this, at 5 pm that same day we headed out to sea to make the most of a fair weather opportunity to voyage further west. Throughout the night we motor sailed, each having one hour on and one hour off.
