Castletownsend Tourists

In glorious summer weather we left Schull for a short day sail to Castletownsend, again picking up a mooring, Dan this time 'ferry gliding' Tramontana up to the buoy. I dropped the boat hook overboard and thought it lost until a small motorboat of six people came within hailing distance. I direct them towards the floating boat hook but, having retrieved it, they then headed ashore without returning it ! Somewhat bemused by the taking of our cheep, plastic, nautical accoutrement, Dan and I rowed ashore in Huffin and a Puffin'. Zeta was given a long dog walk as we explored the compact but interesting and picturesque town. In such a small place we eventually ran into our boat hook again, the taking of which was the result of a bizarre miscommunication, rather than a ruthless claiming of salvage rights.
