Preservation is Key

The day before I headed out to sea, I walked along the shoreline of the access channel to Conwy. It's part of getting psyched up for heading out to sea. For Conwy, going with the flow at high water in good visibility presents minimal problems. The channel is clearly buoyed and GPS can further assist with following the recommended zig-zag route of the main channel. The distinctive hill in the photograph is Great Orm. Bronze Age Mines within have recently been opened up to the public and can be explored without a guide.
